Great Open House!

The Open House was such a success! Lots of people and speeches and singing and great attitudes about what we can do for the Town of Addison. There’s more news here. And don’t forget to check out the photos from the day.

This Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm, April 26th, we're having an open house at our home. A film crew will be there to shoot footage for a documentary they're producing. So, please come and be part of the event. I might even get up and say a few words. Mark it on your calendar — Sunday, April 26th from 2–4pm at our home at 3883 Weller Run Ct. See you there!

Saturday in the Park/Sunday at Home
04/22/2009 01:39 PM Filed in: Campaigning | Documentary
The election is only two weeks away and campaigning is becoming more intense and more frequent.
Saturday was a day in the park — so to speak.
We headed over to the park at Oaks North late Saturday afternoon where the homeowners hosted an annual picnic. Candidates were there, as well and we had a chance to meet people, talk with them, and ask for their votes. And the hamburgers weren't bad, either.
It was a low-key get-together — lots of food, children playing, and good conversation about the future of Addison.
We're preparing to send a mailing to Addison citizens in the next few days. It's a lot of work but will pay off in reaching out to voters, asking for your support.

Congratulations to My Webmaster

I literally could not campaign without him. He has found ways to present my thoughts to you in words, design and graphical content. He designed my Yard Sign also. From those who have seen it, I am getting comments that in summary say, "That is COOL!"
Go to the Join Fan's Team tab in the main menu at the top of your screen to explore ways you can volunteer to help our campaign. There you can see the sign design and you can order your own sign. Or simply click here for your own Yard Sign.
I look forward to reading your comments soon and I’ll be pleased to add my own comments to the dialog.
Talk to you soon….

Welcome to Fan's Blog

I’ll be writing this blog to keep you informed about the AddisonForFan campaign.
Campaigning is a fun but demanding exercise. It is like preparing for and just beginning to start a 10,000 meter race (6.2 miles). I know what that means from experience in anticipation and determination. This race is the most important one of my life because I feel the importance of serving all of you now on the City Council.
It always helps to get encouragement during a very busy day and I hope you will take a moment to make your comments to me on my blog.
AddisonForFan.com launched this weekend and I know it will help us begin a conversation about the issues that lie ahead for Addison.
